idiosynCrazy productions was founded by Makini (jumatatu m. poe) in 2008, initially a choreographic outlet for performance works. In 2009, Shannon Murphy and Shavon Norris joined Makini as co-Directors, and the company’s mission shifted to support the artistic, educational, and community work of all three. In 2013, Shavon retired her position, and the co-directorship was shared between Makini and Shannon. In 2018, Makini and Shannon decided that they would work independently of idiosynCrazy productions.This site is offered as an archive to the work that this team accomplished together, and in support of the work that they continue independently.
